Impact of switching off gas supply

As natural gas supply declines it is critical to understand the full implications of replacing natural gas with electricity. Analysis shows that the Switch-off scenario is more expensive than continuing with BAU, assuming energy prices remain at recent historical levels. This also holds under different energy price assumptions with different (higher and lower) electricity and natural gas price trajectories.
